To study in the UK, you need a visa if you’re 16 or older. Apply at the British embassy or online. You will need:

  • A special number from your university (CAS code)
  • A passport
  • Parent permission if you’re under 18

You can apply 6 months before your course starts if you’re outside the UK and 3 months before if you’re inside. Visa costs change, so check the government website for the latest prices.
